Welcome to St. Winifred
Welcome to St. Winifred Innovation Institute, Ibadan. We are set to develop specialists in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) with redefined curriculum of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and using modern tools(software programs) that permeates all aspect of academic endeavours.
It is our vision to produce first class Software Engineers capable of working in Computer Software/Hardware Engineering Industries, Banking Industries, Telecommunication, Robotics amongst other IT sectors of the economy, and at the same time be useful in the public sector of the economy with proficiency in software applications to solve administrative problems and use the same concept in decision making processes.
St. Winifred Innovative Polytechnic was founded in the year 2005. Our programme develops in students the capacity to manage themselves and their own learning. Students develop their creativity and learn how to take control of their learning. Students learn to share, work with others and lead.
Confidence in communication is developed. ICT is central to all our work and St. Winifred's facilities are outstanding. By the end of the first semester in ND 1, students have created an interactive CD. St. Winifred's Business Leadership programme gives students the opportunity to learn to be leaders.
The programme develops in students the mental and physical strength to face challenges and succeed. We aim for the highest academic and personal standards from each student. All our programmes are accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The institution is equally licenced by Federal Ministry of Education (FME) . While Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) listed the institution since 2006. St. Winifred Innovative Polytechnic provides students with a challenging and active place to learn.
